Eco-participation
We have decided to convert our administration fees into an eco-contribution for our environmentally responsible site. For the Collines team, the best way to minimise our individual environmental impact is to be mindful of our consumption and to regularly reflect on our needs. This eco-contribution is a way of raising our guests’ awareness of environmental issues and our sustainable tourism initiative.
What is the eco-contribution used for?
The eco-contribution is not a tax. It is a form of collective, solidarity-based funding designed to offset the costs of our environmental initiatives. This budget allocation enables us to implement our various projects and reinforce our commitments.
This funding enables us to engage with our guests – particularly the families who rent our holiday cottages in Corrèze – as part of our commitment to being an eco-responsible establishment that respects the environment.
Our commitments at the Résidence des Collines
We focus our efforts on several key areas: space management, environmental awareness, water, waste, energy, housing and social responsibility. This is the very essence and ethos of our accommodation facility and our team. The eco-contribution fee embodies our ethos. For businesses, environmental policies, whilst they do entail costs, can contribute to competitiveness by improving production efficiency and creating new markets. Initially seen as a constraint, adopting environmentally responsible behaviour is now considered an asset.
